Police are asking mid Powys residents to be extra vigilant following a spate of burglaries.
Four burglaries have taken place in the Llanbister and Hay-on-Wye areas during the last seven days.
Between Thursday and Friday, thieves took a generator, cement mixer, two flat-bed trailers, power tools and lengths of beams during two burglaries in the Llanbister area.
Chainsaws and two quad bikes were stolen during two separate burglaries in the Hay-on-Wye area overnight on Friday and Saturday.
Anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious, or has information about the burglaries can phone Dyfed-Powys Police on 101.
