The ewe was badly injured.
DYFED Powys Police are appealing for information after a sheep was found suffering vicious injuries consistent with a dog attack.
The ewe was discovered by her owner abandoned in a shed on common grazing area near Pant y Llyn Pool, just outside Builth Wells, on September 22. She was bleeding heavily and had suffered horrendous neck injuries, consistent with a dog attack. The following morning she had disappeared from the shed.
Anyone with information is urged to contact police on 101.
