SOME blooming great news coming out of Radnorshire this week as Knighton Flower Box has been nominated for the British Florists Associations (BFA) Retail Florist of the Year award.
As part of the BFA’s annual industry awards, the husband and wife-run shop has been nominated just 18 months after Chris and Tanith Fox-James took over at the Flower Box.
The couple took over the local family-owned business in February 2019 and have gone from strength to strength, diversifying its range from just cut flowers to a huge selection of houseplants and becoming a ‘destination’ shop within the Knighton area.
With Jules Pryce and Molly Price also part of the staff, the Flower Box have a team of experienced full-time florists and several houseplant guru’s and are able to offer services encompassing all the milestone dates in people’s lives as well as a free to use houseplant clinic and floral consultation services.
“We are honoured to be nominated for such an accolade after such a short period of time and would love for you to vote for us,” said Tanith.

Voting closes tonight (September 22).
