THE Create Play Community Interest Company in Llandrindod Wells has been given a grant to provide outdoor and environmental learning opportunities for children, parents, and the wider community.

It is part of £1.8m worth of National Lottery funding for communities across Wales, with £10,000 being awarded to the Llandrindod Wells CIC which will fund a community cabin, fencing, and three compost toilets.

John Rose, Wales Director, The National Lottery Community Fund said: “We continue to be impressed by the commitment and determination of the groups we fund to maintain their services, despite the strictures created by the pandemic.
