A NEW restaurant has postponed its opening date due to the “massive impact” of the coronavirus pandemic.
Fine dining restaurant Nasturtium was due to open in Llanidloes this year.
A spokesperson for the restaurant said: “It is with massive regret that we will not be opening in 2020. Due to the Covid situation we will not be able to finance the restaurant how we originally planned.
“The lending criteria has changed which has had a massive impact on our business model. It put us in a very difficult situation.
“So for now, Nasturtium restaurant is on hold. We 100 per cent plan to move forward but it will be at a later date.
“Thank you to everyone for your support and we will return ready in the not to distant future.”
