AN eight year old motorbike rider from Rhayader is celebrating a full sponsorship deal.
Jesse James will race for the Even Strokes YOKO Race Team for 2020/21 season.
The Bristol based company was overwhelmed with 400 plus applicants trying to snatch the elusive backing from Even Strokes.
The company had to narrow riders down to 11 tier one riders who will receive support for the next 18 months with Jess among the riders selected to receive crucial backing.
Jesse, who started racing when he was six years old, is now racing in the WES North Wales Championship on his KTM 50.
He rides with his hero Valentino Rossi’s famous number 46.
He is currently lying third in the championship with a third, second and a first in his last three races and has targeted the title
When he is not racing in north Wales he competes with the his local motocross club with his dream to one day be crowned world champion.
