In reply to Janet Williams who wants to scrap the Senedd.

I think the reason that Wales has been “brought to it’s knees” as she says, is because of the austerity programme of the UK conservative government over the last 10 years.

All our taxes go to Westminster and we then get some if it back through Block Grants and the Barnett Formula etc and are made to feel grateful for any handouts.

The decision was made not to go ahead with the M4 relief road in the summer of 2019 and the Ineos deal was then secured in the autumn of 2019, so the company already knew the relief road was not not going ahead.

Ineos, who is owned by a Brexit supporter, is probably going to move to France, and he himself has moved to live in Monaco.

I can’t comment on the situation with the M4 relief road as I don’t know the area at all, but I think it would be a good idea to spend money on better road links between the north, mid and south of our country and on a better rail network and public transport.

Maybe the answer to not being happy with the Welsh Government would be to vote in a different party to run the country in the elections next May.

Why should we get rid of the Senedd when it was democratically voted for?

Maybe we could cancel Brexit because it’s obviously not a very good idea.

I can’t understand why any Welsh person, Welsh speaking or not, would be happy to be governed by another country.
