THE New Saints will have to wait for a revenge mission against Connah's Quay Nomads in the Cymru Premier League (CPL) as both sides will still be in European action.

After battles on the pitch and in the High Court, Saints were scheduled to host champions Nomads – including a returning Aeron Edwards – in their second fixture of the 2020/21 season on September 15.

But the clash has been moved to Sunday, October 13 to accommodate their Europa League second qualifying round games scheduled for September 17, just two days after the second round of CPL fixtures.

Their campaign to regain the championship begins on the South Wales coast on Saturday, September 12 as they start against rivals Barry Town United.

Next up is Cardiff Met at Park Hall on September 20; however, should TNS advance to the third qualifying round of the Europa League, this fixtures may also be moved.

They will make the trip to the coast to face Caernarfon Town on September 27 – subject to European action – in round four.

Saints end the month at Bala Town on September 30 but with the Europa League play-off round scheduled for 24 hours later, TNS will be hoping for that fixture to also be rescheduled.

The first of the promoted clubs to come to Park Hall will be Flint Town United, who visit in round six on October 3, while the first local clash with Newtown is also at Park Hall on October 6.

Scott Ruscoe's men then face consecutive away games; first a trip to Penybont on October 10 before travelling to Aberystwyth Town six days later.

Haverfordwest County AFC will be the nest promoted side to challenge themselves at Park Hall when they make the trip to Oswestry on October 24, while Saints will make their first trip to Deeside to face Nomads on Halloween.

November's fixtures will be Flint away, Barry at home, Cardiff away and Aberystwyth at home, and will face Cefn Druids home and away respectively on Boxing Day and December 29, with a New Year's Day trip to Newtown.

Saints will finish phase one at home to Caernarfon Town On January 31.

All fixtures are subject to TV changes and if Saints qualify for the Europa League.
