THIS stunning picture of a rainbow over Newtown was taken on Tuesday morning.
The Met office issued storm warnings and flood risks as Storm Francis was predicted to batter mid Wales.
However Frank Moore captured a more serene scene as the fabulous light show nestled into the treeline of the town.
The picture of the low set rainbow was taken from the third floor balcony of Pine Court in Plantation Lane in Newtown.
Frank said: "It was an amazing sight indeed and I've never seen one that low before."
A low rainbow is caused when the sun rises in the sky and the corresponding anti-solar point lowers below the horizon and and leads the rainbow to lower in the sky.
