The Museum of Sculpture in Berriew is set to reopen at the end of the month.

Andrew Logan’s museum will open its doors to the public for the first time since lockdown on Saturday, August 29, at 10am.

The museum said in its newsletter: “It’s been another busy month and we are pleased to announce that life’s returning to a sort of new normal in Berriew, with the Lion Hotel and Museum of Sculpture ready to open their doors to the public once more.

“Andrew has been busy in the studio, he’s also been painting and there are several new projects in the pipeline to share with you.”

One of these new projects is a sculpture of a kingfisher, which is now available to purchase online alongside several other sculptures.

In line with the Covid-19 safety measures, visitors will need to book in advance by calling 01686 640689. If no one is available to take your call leave a message with your name and contract number.

Booking will be staggered in 45 minute slots, with only one household group per slot.

There will be touch point cleaning every hour and the first hour is dedicated for vulnerable and over 65 age groups only.

Much work has been done in improving the visitor experience and more information can be found on the website.
