The Welsh Secretary has said that frustrations have emerged on the Powys/Shropshire border when different coronavirus restrictions have not been explained with evidence.
This comes as Simon Hart visited Welshpool on Tuesday to officially open Montgomeryshire MP Craig Williams’s constituency office.
“If there is evidence that restrictions on one side of the border should be different to the other side that’s fine - as long as it’s explained. When it’s not clear why I think that’s what has caused frustrations,” he said.
However, the minister has also said that there is more cooperation between the Welsh and UK Governments than “people would have us believe”.
“Seven times out of ten there’s consensus between the two governments,” he said.
