Police in Newtown have arrested two people on suspicion of money laundering after finding a large sum of money in a car travelling through the town.
The Newtown Road Policing Unit said on Twitter that they had recovered a "considerable amount of money" during the incident.

In an announcement on Twitter the force said: "Working closely with @DPPNewtown, good stop in Newtown. Two arrested and in custody for money laundering.
"Considerable amount of money in their possession."
The post was accompanied by a picture showing plastic bags full of cash.
