The Rhug Estate, in Corwen, is launching a new skincare collection made with organic and wild foraged ingredients from the estate.

An unspoilt landscape of mountains, clover-rich pastures, rivers and clear streams, where the air is fresh and the nurtured organic land supports an abundance of wildlife. It is this rich heritage that provides the inspiration for this new Wild Beauty collection to be launched this month.

Founders Lord and Lady Newborough have championed the highest standards of organic and sustainable farming at Rhug for many years, and are now applying these same principles to their new range of face and body products.

Inspired by the wild beauty of Rhug, the skincare collection is a unique story of organic security and provenance, blended with modern principles of function and sustainability.

The Rhug team has harnessed natural, wild foraged and organic ingredients with the benefits of natural actives for the collection. Their chosen ingredients contain essential vitamins and minerals, while fragrances are 100% natural and made using essential oils.

Made in the UK with integrity and care for the environment, using recyclable materials. Each element from the ingredients through to the packaging goes through a considered process to ensure it meets the estate's long-established high sustainability standards before being approved for use.

Lord Newborough said: "Everything we make is built on our respect for the environment and our heartfelt wish to create something truly exceptional, with the support of our passionate and dedicated team. Inspired by our beautiful surroundings, we simply call our new collection Wild Beauty."

Rhug Estate's head forager, Richard Prideaux, and his team wild forage for ingredients on the estate, waiting for particular plants to flower and mature.

Sometimes they need to find buds and at other times flowers or leaves, waiting for the optimum time to pick each different part of the plant. Some plants, such as gorse, can be labour intensive to pick, taking hours to collect the right part of the plant.

They keep a watchful eye on every corner of the estate to find the perfect time to harvest. The provenance of each foraged ingredient can be pinpointed to an exact location on the Rhug Estate.
