MOTORISTS in North Wales are being urged to check their vehicles before setting off on long journeys.
North Wales Police took to social media earlier today (July 6), to warn residents that even though travel restrictions are lifted, safety should remain a priority, despite the excitement surrounding the ease in regulations.
They posted: "As travel restrictions are lifted today, please stay safe and if you are going on a longer journey for the first time in a while, please remember to check your vehicle is still roadworthy.
"A warm welcome back to Wales."
