A DERELICT house was destroyed in a deliberate blaze, fire chiefs have said.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service received a call shortly before 6.50pm on Sunday reporting the blaze, at a property in Moss Road in Wrexham.
Two fire engines from Wrexham attended the scene and used six sets of breathing apparatus, as well as a pair of hose reel jets, to extinguish the flames.
A fire spokesman said the two-story property was destroyed in the incident - which was later found to have been caused by deliberate ignition.
North Wales Police has been informed and nobody was injured, the spokesman added.
