People in Welshpool came out in full force this evening as they joined the nation in clapping for the NHS.
The weekly clapping for carers, which took place on Thursdays at 8pm, no longer takes place.
However, this evening at 5pm was a special one-off to mark the National Health Service's 72nd anniversary.
Local photographer Phil Blagg captured people taking part in the Clap for the NHS outside Welshpool Hospital as well as The Rhallt care home. Members of the public, firefighters, care workers and NHS staff are all seen taking part.
