CAMERA Club members made the most of last week’s soaring temperatures.

Photographers from across the region headed outdoors and have sent in their weekly helping of the ‘Great Outdoors.’

Steve Smith captured an evening caller to his garden (top left) while Tom Houghton has sent in a beautiful shot of the River Severn at Pwll Penarth Nature Reserve in Newtown.

Meanwhile Trudy Davies shared an image of the woodlands of Clywedog near Llanidloes.

Nature is in full swing in our next two pictures.

Robin Bridgen’s photographs show flowers blooming and a distinct Cinnabar moth paying a visit to his garden, complete with wonderful pink and blue markings.

Gary Williams resisted the urge for a paddle to capture the Newbridge in Llanymynech.

The picture shows the old bridge in all its glory while the the river reflects the clear blue skies of Mid Wales summer.

Meanwhile Sorcha Lewis got out and about in the iconic Elan Valley.

Among her subjects this week was a family of Highland cows as mother gives her young calf a cooling lick on the ear.

The County Times continues to be blown away by the contributions of our brilliant and enthusiastic camera club members whose images of the beauty of the area get better every week.
