RESIDENTS in Wrexham are being urged to keep themselves safe when shopping in the area.
North Wales Police took to social media today (June 24), to share the importance of maintaining Covid-19 social distancing when visiting the town, after many traders resumed trading on Monday if they complied with all reasonable measures in Welsh law, in order to reduce the spread of the virus and protect shop workers and customers.
They posted: "The town centre is very busy today - great to see local businesses back open.
"If you’re visiting, please stay safe and follow Government guidelines.
"Officers from your NPT are on foot in the area to keep you safe."
