A van driver has been airlifted to hospital with "serious" injuries following a collision with a train near Welshpool.
British Transport Police said the collision happened at a level crossing near Trewern shortly before 2pm on Monday, June 22.
There were no reports of casualties on the train.
Two air ambulances were sent to the incident, and following triage and treatment at the scene, a Midlands Air Ambulance airlifted the injured van driver to the Royal Stoke University Hospital. Ambulance, police and three fire crews - two from Welshpool and one from Montgomery - were also sent to the scene.

The A458 between Buttington and Ford was closed on Monday afternoon but has since re-opened with temporary traffic lights in place.
Railway journeys along the Cambrian Line between Aberystwyth and Shrewsbury were replaced by a temporary bus service between the two towns. At 11pm on Monday, National Rail announced that trains were now able to run normally between Shrewsbury and Welshpool.
The Rail Accident Investigation Branch said an inspector has been sent to the scene to conduct a preliminary examination and gather evidence.
Montgomeryshire MP Craig Williams said his "thoughts are with those who are involved with this terrible incident".
