POWYS has reported its first new coronavirus-related case in 10 days, according to figures released by Public Health Wales (PHW).
However, while there is only new case in the county, PHW has confirmed that100 new cases were reported on Sunday, in one of the largest spikes in reported cases.
The one patient in Powys takes the overall figure to 297, but the overall total of cases reported in Wales since testing began at the start of the pandemic is more than 15,000, with 14 deaths reported across Powys.
Sunday's reporting of 100 cases is the largest jump since May 26, but it is believed the spike is related to two large-scale reporting of cases in Anglesey and Wrexham at processing plants.
