An ELLESMERE-BASED swimming coach says she has been given permission to start offering open water swimming lessons at the Mere.
Nicola Bainbridge, who owns Swinfinity, is fully booked up for her first weekend, but says more spaces are still available.
She said: "Following discussions with Shropshire Council I have secured permission to provide professionally-coached open water sessions at this beautiful local venue, from Saturday, July 4.
"As a Level 3 Senior Coach, Level 2 Open Water Coach and Level 2 Swimming Teacher, this is an exciting opportunity to help swimmers and triathletes reach their individual goals.
"I will initially be offering hour-long one-to-one and small group sessions (maximum five swimmers) on a pre-booked basis, with social distancing guidelines."
