AN inquest has been opened into the death of a Royal Gwent Hospital nurse who was found dead at his Newport home in April.
The body of Eduard Haitonic, originally from Romania, was found at his flat in the city's Caerau Road on Monday April 27.

A post mortem examination report gave the provisional cause of death as asphyxia and hanging, a hearing at Gwent Coroner's Court in Newport, was told.
Senior Coroner for Gwent Caroline Saunders confirmed that there were no suspicious circumstances, and adjourned the inquest. A full hearing will take place on May 25 next year.
