Residents at a Welshpool nursing home can now stay connected with their families during the lockdown thanks to a generous donation from a rugby club in Cardiff.
An electronic tablet was presented to The Rhallt Care Home on Friday, May 29, by Welshpool Rugby Club head coach Dave Roberts on behalf of Clwb Rygbi Caerdydd.
Clwb Rygbi Caerdydd raised more than £11,800 last month to support essential workers during the pandemic.
Welshpool RFC said: “We were pleased to present a tablet to The Rhallt nursing home this morning on behalf of Clwb Rygbi Cymru Caerdydd. This will help residents stay in contact with their families.
Coach Dave Roberts said: “Well done Clwb Rygbi on some incredible fundraising and supporting the whole country.”
