McDonald's in Newtown has reopened today with new measures in place to keep staff and customers safe.
The fast food chain opened all its Drive-Thru restaurants on Wednesday however it is offering a limited menu and operating reduced hours.
It has warned that things may take a little longer and high demand is anticipated.
Mc Donald's says it may determine that it is necessary to close Drive Thru lanes if queues cause disruption at busier sites or put employees or customers at risk.
The changes include perspex screens at Drive-Thru windows and employees wearing protective equipment.
Customers are also being encouraged to pay by contactless payment, and spend a maximum of £25 per order.
Local McDonald's Drive Thru restaurants are at Aberystwyth and Shrewsbury.
