As a special thank you to our inspirational Welsh NHS, Radnor Hills Water Company has joined forces with its supply partners to donate 250,000 bottles of its naturally filtered spring water to NHS workers.

Each component of the special product, right through from graphic design to the bottles, caps, labels and outer packaging has been donated by the supply partners of Radnor Hills which include Matthew Mills Graphic Design, Plastipak, Bericap, Saica, Berry BPI and Mima Films.

The water has been distributed through the Welsh NHS delivery network with transport services donated by Tyrell’s Court. Bottles are also free to collect by NHS workers with ID from the Cash & Carry outlets of Radnor Hills’ food distribution partner, Castell Howell.

The initiative has been supported by the Welsh Government and the Total Food Marketing service (Menter a Busnes), both of whom have helped establish the connections with the NHS.

William Watkins, managing director of Radnor Hills Water Company, said: “Hydration is an essential part of maintaining health, and we hope, with this donation, we can make a small contribution to the health and wellbeing of our amazing health workers, who are looking after the health of our nation.

“Radnor Hills’ valued supply partners have been instrumental in this project and I thank them for helping us to say a huge diolch to the fantastic Welsh NHS workers.”

Radnor Hills has been producing award-winning soft drinks from a family farm in Knighton for more than 25 years. The spring water is sourced from 12 boreholes on the family’s land. The company was founded by entrepreneur Mr Watkins.
