THE football season in Wales has officially ended.
After consultation with clubs, the Football Association of Wales has brought a close to the JD Cymru Premier, North and South leagues, due to the coronavirus crisis.
Remaining league fixtures for 2019/20 will not be played, and Connah’s Quay Nomads have been crowned champions of the JD Cymru Premier for the first time in their history, bringing to an end TNS's run of titles stretching back to 2011.
The Football Association of Wales today confirmed the end of their domestic leagues because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
