On one street in Welshpool everybody gets together and dances on their doorsteps every Sunday in an effort to raise people's spirits during lockdown.

"Everybody is grateful for a little bit of a smile. That's what it boils down to," said Hayley Jones, who set up the group Heulwen Heroes.

Local photographer Phil Blagg went out onto Heulwen Way at 7pm this Sunday just gone to capture the magic, where they were dancing to 'Is this the way to Amarillo?'. All the neighbours are in a group chat, and five minutes before they all stepped outside a spontaneous decision was made for them all to wear hats - if they had one to hand.

The local community first game together when they all teamed up to clean up their street, and ever since they've been close; even holding a street party last August. Now, as we've entered a health crisis, they're really seeing the benefits of knowing their neighbours. Not only do they do each other's shopping, but they dance together too - making sure to get back inside on their sofas for Countryfile at 7.04pm.

"The community spirit is amazing," Hayley said.
