A FARMING family from Nantmel, near Rhayader have paid tribute to frontline healthcare workers by herding their flock of sheep to spell ‘NHS’.

It took Ian Rees and his graphic design student son Kenneth three days to film the video using a mobile phone and drone. The video shows them attempting to herd their sheep to produce the shape of the three letters.

Farmer Ian is seen collecting the sheep feed and driving through fields and lanes on his red quad bike. He then lays the feed for the sheep in the field before an aerial shot shows them forming the NHS logo.

Ian said: “I wanted to pay tribute to the NHS for all the staff, doctors and nurses who are paying the ultimate price taking care of the people with this awful disease.

“I wanted to show that the farmers are supporting them, and this was a way I could show by doing it. They’re on the front line, paying the ultimate price. We’re just supporting them.”

The video has been watched over 12,000 times on social media.
