A well-known local choir in North Powys has become part of the 'Virtual Choir' which has released a song to raise money for the NHS.
The Castle Bells Choir, which is made up of women from Guilsfield, Welshpool, Llanfair Caereinion, Tregynon, Berriew and Newtown, has teamed up with The Counterpoint Choirs and other special artists to create a cover of Let it Be by The Beatles.
It's made up of 56 different voices which were recorded remotely across three different countries.
We are so proud to release our virtual collaboration of Let it Be between The Counterpoint Choirs, Castle Belles Choir...

Sara from the Castle Belles said: "Whilst we cannot come together to sing as one, we decided to come together virtually with each of the 56 voices recording individually. We are so proud of the end result but more importantly we are so thankful and proud of the heroes within the NHS who are fighting to keep us all safe so we want to dedicate this to them."
The 'Singing to Save Lives' fundraising page on JustGiving has already smashed its £200 target, having reached £600. If you would like to donate, just click here.
