The great outdoors is still there – and we'll all get to enjoy it again once this period of housebound isolation comes to an end.

But in the meantime, here are more contributions from our fabulously talented Powys County Times Camera Club to give you a reminded of the world beyond our doorsteps.

Some of them are taken from the confines of people's own property, others were taken in the period immediately before the government-imposed lockdown on people's lives, and some are dug out of our talented band of snappers' own personal archive.

Sean Weekly, whose fantastic efforts at encouraging red kites into his garden using sausages was featured in last week's County Times, shows what he can do when he escapes into the wild, with a fabulous picture of star trails above Powys.

A single shot, it was taken using a 15-minute exposure on his camera and captures the movement of the Earth beautifully.

Once again, the varied wildlife of Mid Wales (and in one case Tanzania) is celebrated by many of our other photographers, with Roisin Boland and Martin James both capturing creatures that are visible from our own doorsteps, while Ross Wolverson's highland cow was spotted near Dolgellau.
