It's been a week since the Prime Minister announced the latest restrictions during the coronavirus pandemic. Since then, many of us have scarcely left our homes - bar short trips out to the supermarket or to exercise.

Local photographer Phil Blagg has taken his camera around Welshpool, documenting what the town is like in lockdown. It's like a ghost town. The streets are empty, with notices on the windows of shops, pubs and cafes announcing their closure. The roads, even the Newtown bypass, are more or less empty - as is the train station.

As for the supermarkets, they're busier than ever. Shoppers can be seen masked up in an effort to protect themselves from the virus as they stock up on essentials.
