STRICTLY Come Dancing fans are in for a treat with local theatres presenting some of the biggest stars live including The Ballroom Boys, Ian Waite and Vincent Simone at at The Hafren, Newtown, next weekend.

Following the roaring success of their five star-rated 2019 tour, they are back on the road with Act Two, a brand new show of old-fashioned variety with their dancing partners and a world class singer. It comes to Newtown on Saturday, March 21.

The two old-school professionals left Strictly's legion of fans intrigued when they announced their unlikely partnership last year, but the success of the first tour has led to this new shows with even more dance, comedy and song.

Ian says of the new show: “Myself and Vince joined up for the 2019 tour because we wanted to do something completely different to all the other Strictly tours. We never imagined that it would be so popular, the audiences loved it, which is amazing. So we thought, why not do it again?”

Having both been part of the hit BBC show for a number of years, with their partners including Zoe Ball, Penny Lancaster, Rachel Stevens, and Louisa Lytton, they are still very much involved.

Ian is a regular on It Takes Two with his ‘Waite’s Warm-Up’ section and Vincent choreographs the Argentine Tango routines that are seen on the main show.

The fabulous Strictly Come Dancing stars promise another wonderful evening, with beautiful costumes, gorgeous lighting and world-class routines.

Shrewsbury's Theatre Severn also welcome the Ballroom Boys on Sunday, June 7, as part of a growing number of shows that are leaving the Strictly ballroom and heading for the stage.

This Sunday night, March 15, Theatre Severn hosts "Lost in the Rhythm" featuring Strictly star Amy Dowden, British champion Ben Jones and Strictly finalist and athletics star Colin Jackson.

Then while Ian and Vincent are wowing Mid Wales next Saturday, March 21, Strictly star with Gionvanni Pernice will be showing off his Italian charm, beautiful choreography and a fabulous soundtrack with This is Me at Theatre Severn.

Then later this month, former Strictly champions Kevin Clifton and Joanne Clifton star in "Burn The Floor" at Shrewsbury on Thursday and Friday, March 26 and 27.
