ABERYSTWYTH will host a unique word record attempt on March 1.
To mark St David's Day the town hopes to recruit at least 300 people to form the world's longest human archway.
Organisers Orchard Media have teamed up with S4C for the historic Guinness World Record attempt and are appealing for volunteers to hold hands for history.
Registration will take place at the Marine Terrace from 3pm with the human archway stretching from the bottom of Constitution Hill along the town Promenade.
