Buses will replace trains between Llanwrtyd Wells and Llandovery as work to remove “hazardous” trees is carried out.
Network Rail says it will be undertaking essential work to remove vegetation to maintain the safety of the railway for passengers, the public and staff.
The Heart of Wales Line between the two towns will close from 7pm on Sunday, February 9, to 5.50am on Saturday, February 29, excluding the weekend of February 22 and 23.
During this time, Transport for Wales will be running a replacement bus service between Llanwrtyd Wells and Llandovery and will stop at the Sugar Loaf and Cynghordy.
Transport for Wales says the rail replacement bus timetable will be updated weekly as times will vary on a week by week basis.
Three-week major refurbishment work at Sugar Loaf railway station continues until Sunday, February 16.
Passengers are reminded to check before travelling and allow extra time for journeys.
