A person's body has been found on a beach in Prestatyn.
North Wales Police said that the discovery was made on Sunday.
The body has not been formally identified, while a post-mortem will be carried out on Monday.
Chief Inspector Jon Bowcott said: "There are no further details to release at this point. The body has not yet been formally identified.
"A post-mortem will be carried out on the afternoon of Monday 20th January, following which more information may become available."
