Fire stations across Powys are recruiting new firefighters.

If your New Year’s resolution is to try something different, then why not become an on-call firefighter at your local station.

All you need is a reasonable standard of fitness and to live or work within 10 minutes of the fire station.

Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service is currently looking to boost its recruitment drive in Powys.

On-call firefighters are needed at all fire stations in Powys with the exception of Llanfyllin and Machynlleth.
