Welshpool Firefighters took on the Shropshire White T-Shirt Mud Run; and firefighter Ffion Evans was the winning woman.
Ffion said: “It was a great team event to finish the year. We all really enjoyed it and are looking forward to participating in more mud runs and challenging events in the new year.”
Ffion is a retained firefighter for the Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service and is based at both the Welshpool and Llanfair Caereinion stations.
She also works in The Flash Leisure Centre in Welshpool, where she is a personal trainer and fitness instructor.
Posting on Twitter, Welshpool Fire Station said well done to Ffion for being the first lady home and said that is was a “brilliant event” showing that its firefighters are #firefit.
