A POPULAR story-teller got on his bike and cycled for almost eight miles in aid of charity – dressed as a Christmas elf!
Rory Evans donned his costume and made the journey from Caersws to the Morrison’s store in Newtown on Saturday morning and spent the day there collecting donations for charity.
He said: “I’ve raised lots of money this month and over the whole year for everybody.
“I dressed as an elf to bike from Caersws to Newtown and got the staff in the store to sponsor me.”
Mr Evans was then at the store all day on Saturday from 9am to 5pm collecting donations.
