SANTA Claus arrives early at Newtown’s Hafren theatre with “Santa’s Christmas Countdown” shows this Saturday, December 21, at 1.30 and 4pm.

Remember to bring a Christmas letter to post in Santa’s special post box for a show that features Dotty the Elf, Dasher the Reindeer, Jack Frost and Pompom the Penguin in a fun, festive, musical adventure.

Christmas faces disaster when Santa tries to begin the countdown only to find the calendar is broken and all the magical goodies inside have gone missing!

Santa needs them to get ready for Christmas but how is he going to get everything back in time?

Songs include festive favourites: Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas, Away In A Manger, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, The Twelve Days Of Christmas, Nick-Nack Paddiwack, and many more.

It’s an afternoon where every child gets a present from Santa, and should prove as popular as last year’s sell-out performances of “Santa’s Christmas Party”.

Created by Martin Parsons (Playdays Live, Sooty’s Magic Castle) and Kate Ashmead (Tweenies, Thomas & Friends Live!), the Santa Shows are a unique range of fun, family Christmas shows where every child gets a present from Father Christmas after the performance.

They tour their festive, interactive, song-filled productions to theatres across the UK each November and December.

The Santa shows are hugely popular and have enjoyed numerous sold out performances, taking audiences on an adventure to Father Christmas’s home at the North Pole.

There they encounter a host of colourful characters before meeting Santa himself and receiving a specially wrapped present in our popular meet, greet and treat, after the most Christmassy Christmas show ever!

Tickets are £11.50 for adults and £10 for children, with a family tickets at £38.
