A fire broke out in a commercial wheelie bin in a residential part of Oswestry on Saturday.

The incident in Biffen Road happened just after 7pm and saw one fire crew from the town in attendance.

They used a hose reel jet and thermal imaging camera to put out the blaze.

A spokesperson for Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Crews have extinguished fire in a commercial wheelie bin using one hose reel jet and thermal imaging camera."

They left the scene shortly before 7.30pm.
