ROCK of Ages, the High School Edition will storm onto the stage at Welshpool's Theatr Clera next month.
Pupils of Welshpool High School are in rehearsals for a production that is set in the 1980s on the Hollywood strip and features all of the key anthems from that decade.
The story centres on the threatened future of The Bourbon Room (Hollywood's equivalent of Liverpool's The Cavern).
After launching the career of all of the key names in the Music industry, including the Legendary Stacey Jaxx (!?!), its future is now threatened by German developers who sweep in to turn it into yet another American shopping mall.
Can Drew, Sherrie, and the gang save the strip, and themselves, before it's too late?
Find out on Tuesday and Wednesday, December 10 and 11. Tickets cost £6 for adults and £5 for all concessions and they are available from the school finance office or call 01938 552014.
