A KNITTING group in Oswestry has handmade some fun toys for children who are being cared for by a specialist children’s charity near the town.
The Crafty Knitters have crafted finger puppets to help children at The Movement Centre by encouraging them to move.
Members created the toys for the centre in the hope that it will encourage them to reach out and stretch in order to grasp a puppet.
At a recent meeting, Crafty Knitters welcomed Curtis Langley and Ann Norwood from The Movement Centre based at the Orthopaedic Hospital.
The Crafty Knitters meet on the second Monday of the month at the Senior Citizens Centre Lorne Street.
An admission fee of £2 covers the cost of light refreshments – new members are welcome.
