LITTLE ones were welcomed into a care home as they spent time with residents living with dementia.
Children from the pre-school at Meithrinfa Chwarae Teg, Abergele, made their first visit to Bay Court care home, Kinmel Bay, as part of Conwy County Borough Council's Community Wellbeing Scheme.
One little boy and one resident quickly joined hands
The scheme aims to link people within the local community through holistic activities.
Letitia Spencer, deputy manager at the children's nursery, and Fay Lewis, pre-school team member, accompanied the four children involved in the visit.
Letitia said: "The children enjoyed a play session. They used Duplo and built a tower and did a bit of singing."

Bay Court cares for residents aged 65 and older and caters for people with dementia and Alzheimer's.
Helen Humphreys, operation manager, said: "The visit went really well. The children interacted straight away. One child went straight up and held a resident's hand."
The children and residents were joined by Towyn and Kinmel Bay mayor, Morris Jones. The nursery plan to continue the visits.
