LUXURY New Forest hotel Lime Wood will celebrate ten years with its biggest pop up event ever featuring five top chefs.

The famous names include Lime Wood’s own chefs Luke Holder and Angela Hartnett, but also Phil Howard, Neil Borthwick and Valentine Warner.

The chefs will be taking over the HH&Co kitchen for one night only on Friday November 29.

The special tenth birthday four course menu will include a smoked mackerel dish from Phil Howard, white truffle risotto from Michelin starred Gordon Ramsay protege Angela Hartnett and her HH& Co co head chef Luke Holder, a guinea fowl dish from Valentine Warner and apple semifreddo with walnut and blackberries from Neil Borthwick.

Phil Howard has always been a ‘chef’s chef’ who has been awarded three Michelin stars over the years. He is famous for his modern French food that is kept in check by a rigorous approach to seasonality and outstanding technique.

Valentine Warner grew up on a farm in Dorset, learning to fish, shoot and cook from a young age and most will know him as a chef that holds a deep-rooted connection with nature, responsible for conjuring up mouthwatering rustic dishes wherever he may be in the world.

Neil Borthwick and Angela first met in the kitchens at the Connaught Hotel in London in 2002 where she was Head Chef and he was there as a willing junior. He was only meant to be there for a couple of weeks. In the end, he stayed for the best part of four years – they are now married! After many successes over the years, Neil has now added his own French take on the Dining room much to the delight of the Soho crowd and critics.

Tickets for the event cost £125 per person and include a glass of fizz on arrival and the four course dinner with wine. Seating will be across large group tables.

An overnight stay in a double room costs from £595 including breakfast and two tickets to the pop up, which gets under way at 7pm.
