FAST flowing or deep floodwater is likely, causing danger to life warns the Met Office as it has upgraded its weather alert to an Amber Warning.

Heavy rain between 6pm this evening (Friday) until 11am tomorrow is expected to bring flooding and transport disruption for P

A Met Office spokesperson said: "Rain will be heavy and persistent across South Wales, particularly in areas exposed to the strong southwesterly winds.

"Rain will ease from the west later on Saturday morning. Many places are expected to see 60mm to 80 mm of rain with as much as 100mm to 120mm possible over higher ground."
