THE lyrico spinto soprano Marie Miller will be hosting her annual charity concert at Llandrindod Wells this year on Saturday afternoon, October 26.

It will be taking place between 2 an 5pm at the Holy Trinity Church, and is in aid of the Bracken Trust and Holy Trinity Church.

Known for her opera company and stage performances, Marie is also a music teacher at both Llandrindod Wells and Shrewsbury and is now Member of the Incorporated Society of Musicians.

She has been hosting an annual charity concert in Llandrindod for some years and admission will again be free with donations that can be made in he collection boxes available on the day.

Marie will be singing herself and will again be joined by other guest vocalists and accompanists for the wide ranging concert of music from the classical and opera worlds as well as the musicals, culminating with a grand singsong with audience participation as a finale which people always seem to enjoy.

This year’s guests will be sopranos Grace Worrall, Nicky Grulich, Tyler Murdock and Yvonne Gulley; and tenors Ian Stevens and Phil Evans, with Bill Atkins on pianoforte; and accompanist Aaron Glyn Preston.

The Bracken Trust are providing interval refreshments and though admission is free, donation boxes will be dotted around the Church and their St Francis’ Centre.
