THE Watercress Line is set to welcome dozens of witches and wizards to its Wizard Weekend this Halloween.
Inviting visitors to make magic and mischief and dress up as a Halloween spook, the event returns with an exciting array of activities on October 26 from 11am to 4pm.
You’ll be able to take unlimited rides on the Wizard Express steam train in one of the Watercress Line’s Harry Potter-style coaches and walk in Harry’s footsteps on the real Kings Cross footbridge from the films.
Youngsters will also have the opportunity to make spooky masks, don a temporary ghoulish tattoo and enjoy the Magic Marketplace which will be situated at Ropley.
A wizarding magician will be roaming the station to showcase tricks to visitors before a show for all to enjoy.
Marketing manager Jules Johns said: “It’s the perfect way to celebrate Halloween. We have so much for all the family to get involved in and enjoy a magical Halloween weekend to remember, plus some delicious pizza and the popular Cookie Bar bus will be in attendance.”
Visitors are encouraged to wear their best spooky costumes for a chance to win a special prize in the Watercress Line’s daily fancy dress competition.
