AN INQUEST has opened into the death of a teenager found stabbed in a Basingstoke street.
Taylor John Williams, 18, was found with serious knife wounds near Baynard Close on August 31.
Mr Williams, of Bromley, Kent, was taken to hospital but died of his wounds.
Home Office pathologist Dr Russell Delaney conducted a post-mortem and said the cause of death was a stab wound to the chest, pending the result of a laboratory investigation.
Assistant area coroner Sam Marsh adjourned the inquest until April 10.
