Llanidloes is preparing to welcome the largest and most high-profile motor rally in the United Kingdom this weekend.
Wales Rally GB competitors will drive through the town centre between stages on Saturday, October 5.
Spectators will be able to catch a glimpse of the world’s best drivers between 8.45am and 10.45am as they travel through Staylittle, over Longbridge and head down to Long Bridge Street, past the iconic Market Hall, then down Llangurig Road before heading out onto the A470.
For those who miss the morning run, competitors will arrive from Hafren over Long Bridge to Bradleys Garage between from 11.0am to 1pm before heading to Newtown.
Llanidloes business Cambrian Mountain Events said: “What a fantastic opportunity for the residents of Llanidloes and wider environ, who we sincerely hope will visit town to make a day of this fantastic opportunity and show their support in welcoming the 2019 Wales Rally GB through the town.”
