DANCERS swoop through murmurations of starlings, struggle through raging storms, and float above torch-light, fighting to find authenticity in a world in which acting is our only survival mechanism, in a new dance show being brought to Mid Wales.
'Murmur' will be presented by the Cardiff-based professional dance company Ransack Dance at The Hafren, Newtown, this Saturday, September 28.
The show includes athletic contemporary dance, breath taking live music, with the live band Best Supporting Actors, and powerful film imagery of starlings in their distinctive flight patterns.
Tickets for The Hafren are £11 or concessions £8.50 on 01686 614555.
With a pre-show talk and a free after show gig for all audience members, the show also comes to Aberystwyth Arts Centre on Wednesday, October 2, and to Theatr Brycheiniog, Brecon, on Friday, October 18.
Ransack will also return to Brecon on November 28 with a new version of 'Broken Arrows'.
